Concept
Safety & Savings
The reality is that people fall. There are
systems upon systems designed to prevent someone from falling. A
safe environment is important. Many family members and staff are
even trained to know what to do once someone has fallen to the ground
(first aid, cpr, etc.).
What about catching someone 'AS' they are
falling? Chances are, drop seizure candidates will seizure and fall.
Seniors who need assistance fall. These injuries are heart-breaking
to family members as well as the staff who care for them.
There is a growing number of staff injuries to add to the problem.
This results in more Workman's Compensation claims leading to larger
premiums.
Fall Prevention inc has developed a system using
proper footwork, body awareness, and fall prevention techniques to guide
someone safely to the ground preventing injury to the resident and staff.
We also teach awareness and vigilance to staff, keeping them focused on
the person they are caring for.
